According to the results of the previous year, the Military-transport aviation Command has become the best in the Aerospace Forces.
The average number of flight hours of a crew leader in the military-transport aviation has constituted over 170, and for a young pilot – over 200 hours. The total number of hours spent in the air has exceeded 50 000.
In 2015, the flight personnel of the military-transport aviation took part in all unannounced combat readiness inspections of the Military Districts, the strategic command-and-staff exercise Center-2015, exercises among formations and units of the Aerospace Forces, ensuring exercises of the Land Forces, Airborne Troops, as well as participated in the “Aviadarts” contest within the International Army Games.
Within the preparation of the Hmeymim airfield infrastructure on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic, crews of IL-76 and An-124 Ruslan aircraft performed over 280 sorties transporting 13,75 thousand tons of cargo.
