Naval assault aviation regiment of the Black Sea Fleet took delivery of Su-30SM multi-role fighters, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the fleet’s representative Captain Vyacheslav Trukhachev.
"The jets have already performed ferry flight and are being prepared for performing flights," he said.
These fighters should gradually replace Su-24 bombers, which are now cornerstones of the naval aviation of the Black Sea Fleet.
