KRET has successfully implemented at some of its enterprises the Federal Target Program "Development of an electronic component base and radio electronics,” which ends in 2015.
As part of the federal target program, KRET is implementing 15 development programs across 12 enterprises. The amount of funding allocated to these programs in 2015 alone amounted to more than 350 million rubles.
"The activities carried out as part of the federal program seek to create a foundation for the development and production of competitive high-tech electronic products,” said Igor Nasenkov, First Deputy CEO of KRET.
According to Nasenkov, increasing the quality and performance of products to world-class levels will stimulate demand both in Russia and abroad. In addition, this will reinvigorate enterprises and has actually already improved their socio-economic indicators.
One of the major projects implemented under the federal program is the “Reconstruction and technical modernization of specialized digital computers at Ryazan State Instrument Enterprise.”
This project includes the development of technologies to produce specialized digital multiprocessor computers using the principles of second-generation integrated modular avionics. This will create solutions with a significantly increased level of reliability that, notably, will be used in the fifth-generation Russian fighter jet.
In addition, the federal program includes the large-scale modernization and redesign of production facilities and the instrumentation base for Taganrog Research Institute of Telecommunications.
