Russian Managers Association and Kommersant newspaper named the best Russian managers following the results of Russian companies of 2014. Eight top-managers of Irkut Corporation (part of United Aircraft Corporation) have made the list – it’s the maximum number of employees of a single company in the rating’s “Machine-building” section. The corporation’s top-managers took the leading positions (from 1^st to 8^th) in professional nominations, the Irkut’s press-service reports.

Among them are: 

President Oleg Demchenko;

Senior Vice-President – Executive Director Vasily Prutkovskiy;

Vice-President, Head of Marketing and Sales of Civil Aircraft Department, Kirill Budaev;

Vice-President, Corporate Finance, Denis Polevschikov;

Vice-President, Production Coordination and Cooperation, Alexander Svischenko;

Head of the Corporate Front Office Valery Dashevski;

Head of Legal Department Alexander Simachev;

Head of IT department Dmitry Kozlov.

“Over the last 13 years (since the establishment of the corporation) Irkut Corporation has demonstrated sustainable growth and taken leading positions in the national Machine-building industry. Since 2002 the corporation’s revenues increased four times and exceeded $1,7 billion in 2014. The enterprise’s strategy is focused on upgrade and promotion of Su-30 fighters, Yak-130 operational trainers and implementation of MS-21 project. In the network of its investment policy the corporation is constantly expanding and upgrading its production capacities and research-and-development facilities,” Irkut Corporation noted. 

The corporation is expanding its market presence and increasing its output. Today combat aircraft manufactured by the company are delivered to Russian Ministry of Defense, CIS Region and other foreign countries. Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade has named Irkut Corporation the Russia’s Best Exporter in the “Aircraft Industry” category six years in a row. In 2015 employees of Irkut Corporation were awarded with a certificate of acknowledgement from the President of Russian Federation for fulfillment of the State Defense Order.
