Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) presented the certificate of compliance with Aviation Regulations, Part 145 (AR-145), to AMTES GmbH (part of Volga-Dnepr Technics subgroup). This certificate expands company’s capabilities in terms of An-124 maintenance, the company’s press-service reports.
The document was handed over to AMTES Managing Director, Ildar Ilyasov, by Head of IAC’s Certification Service, Sergey Instrumentov, during a meeting held at MAKS-2015 airshow.
Aviation Regulations, Part 145 (AR-145) set the requirements to providers of MRO services and certification procedures. The certificate presented to AMTES GmbH allows the company to carry out maintenance in accordance with service bulletins on An-124 aircraft. Moreover AMTES has all the necessary certificates for An-124 maintenance in hangar facility at Leipzig/Halle Airport.
AMTES Managing Director, Ildar Ilyasov, said: “We decided to obtain the MRO Organization Certificate to expand our capabilities in the area of MRO services for Russian-produced aircraft. This is the first significant step of Volga-Dnepr Group in the network of the project for An-124 upgrade and we are going to expand our certificate in accordance with AR-145 soon in order to be able to carry out more types of work. An-124 aircraft, including those operated by Volga-Dnepr Airlines, have proven themselves as one of the best indigenous cargo aircraft. I’m confident that AMTES specialists will do their best to ensure customer satisfaction providing fast and high-quality services. We are going to expand the scope of operations in both Russian and Western aircraft segments, and expand our maintenance capabilities in European market.”
AMTES GmbH is an organization providing MRO services for Russian and foreign aircraft. The company holds Part-145 and FAR-145 certificates. Its main operation facility having an area of 8,500 sq. m. is located at Leipzig/Halle Airport, Germany. Also line maintenance station was launched at Frankfurt airport.
