STLC will lease out 32 Sukhoi SupetJet 100 aircraft purchased following an additional capitalization

The State Transport Leasing Company (STLC) is going to purchase and lease out 32 Sukhoi SupetJet 100 aircraft using funds allocated to the company in the network of additional capitalization of 30 billion rubles, Gazeta.ru reports with reference to Deputy Minister of Finance Tatyana Nesterenko.

«The last amendment offers adding additional capitalization of the STLC to the text of the law about budget in order to purchase Sukhoi SupetJet 100 aircraft and lease the jets out to air carriers,» she said adding that this measure may help create sufficient workload for Komsomolsk-on-Amur aviation plant (manufactures the SSJ100 liners) and secure orders for 32 jets of the type in the network of financial lease agreements. According to her, 15 jets will be leased out to Yamal Airlines and 15 more liners – to Sсat.

In her own turn, Deputy Director of Aircraft Industry Department of Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Lyudmila Rostovtseva, explained that this funds will be used to pay for 10 already assembled aircraft of the type and make an advanced payment to support production and delivery of the rest 22 liners.
