United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) invested 3,5 billion rubles in production of components for MS-21 aircraft by KAPO-Composit (Kazan), BIZNES Online reports with reference to AeroComposit CEO Anatoly Gaidanski.
According to Gaidnski, load-carrying elements of MS-21 composite wing will be manufactured using an infusion technology. At present the first wing for MS-21 prototype is being manufactured by AeroComposit-Ulyanovsk, the production should be completed this autumn. UAC invested 5 billion rubles in establishing state-of-the-art computer-aided production in Ulyanovsk and total investments in these two enterprises amounted to 8,5 billion rubles.
We remind you that KAPO-Composit is able to manufacture composite high-lift devices, empennage and different elements of fuselage of Russian-producedSukhoi SuperJet 100, MS-21, Tu-214 liners as well as some components for Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
