Rosoboronexport to deliver 5 Tor-M2K air defense systems to Belarus

Rosoboronexport signed a contract with Belarusian Ministry of Defense for delivery of 5 Tor-M2K air defense systems, Rosoboronexport CEO Anatoly Isaykin told RIA Novosti at MAKS-2015 airshow.

“Rosoboronexport signed a contract with Belarusian Ministry of Defense for delivery of 5 Tor-M2K air defense systems at MAKS-2015.The deliveries are scheduled for 2016,” Isaykin said. According to him, delivery of these advanced systems will significantly expand the capabilities of Belarusian air defense and the Union State of Russia and Belarus.

“In 2014-2015 Rosoboronexport started promotion of wheeled and modular versions of Tor air defense systems. This contract is the result of our efforts,” Isaykin said.
