S7 Airlines, a member of the oneworld® global aviation alliance®, installed a device for printing out mobile boarding passes at the airport of Simferopol.

The service “Mobile Boarding Pass” is available at 40 airports of the S7 Airlines route network. At the airport of Simferopol the device is installed in the check-in area on the first floor of Terminal B.

Passengers, who checked-in online at s7.ru or through S7 apps for iPhone or smart phones with Android system, can place the 2D barcode of the boarding pass in front of the device for reading the barcode, and then have the boarding pass printed on paper without any assistance.

Passengers without baggage can afterwards proceed directly to the airport security area walking past check-in counters.

Online check-in for most flights starts 30 hours prior to scheduled departure time. Self checked-in passengers can choose a convenient seat in the cabin and even see other passengers on the flight, if they specify their profile in any social network. Passengers who use mobile boarding passes have an opportunity to spend less time at the airport.
