Tu-214SR RA-64527 performed its maiden flight on June 25th

Tu-214SR aircraft (MSN 027), manufactured by Kazan Aviation Plant named after S.P. Gorbunov (branch of Tupolev Company), performed its maiden flight on June 25^th. The jet was piloted by the Class 1 test-pilot, deputy head of Tupolev Company Flight Test Department, Alexey Ryabov, the company’s press-service reports.

A total of 15 test flights will be completed. Upon completion of the ground and flight tests, the new relay aircraft will be handed over to its operator, the company added.
