Russia and Italy are preparing an agreement for launching joint production of heavy helicopters, which may be operated on Russian mineral deposits, Interfax-AVN reports with reference to the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.

“An agreement with Rosneft related to joint production of heavy helicopters, which may be operated on Russian mineral deposits, is being developed. I have discussed the contract with the Prime Minister. It will cost around €3 billion; the deliveries should be completed by 2025,” V. Putin said at a press conference in Milan.
