Ilyushin Company and Russian Ministry of Defense signed a contract for upgrade of another batch of anti-submarine Il-38 aircraft operated by Russian navy to Il-38N version, press-service of Ilyushin Company reports.

«So far five aircraft of the type have been overhauled and upgraded under the previous contract, four aircraft have already been delivered to the customer and performed flights to their home base. The fifth aircraft is being tested at Ilyushin’s flight test and development base in Zhukovsky. The vehicle is being prepared for test flights,» the enterprise noted.
