Russian Aviaton » Wednesday July 29, 2015 13:30 MSK

S7 Airlines, a member of the oneworld® global aviation alliance®, summarized the results of work of the frequent flyer programme S7 Priority. Within the six months of the year 2015 the redemption rate amounted to 80%.

“During the first half of the year 80% of all earned miles were spent by members of the loyalty programme on purchases of air tickets and payment for additional services. Such redemption rate is quite high, significantly above the average rate within this sector. We consider it as an index, which demonstrates the activity of programme members and availability of award tickets for passengers”, Natalia Nikolaeva, S7 Airlines Loyalty Programme Director, noted.

Programme members can spend collected miles on award tickets for flights of S7 Airlines and of 15 partner airlines. The minimum cost of an award ticket is 7500 miles. In addition passengers can use their miles for cabin upgrades. The minimum cost of the upgrade to business class is 3750 miles.

During the last year S7 Priority became even more convenient, there are several new opportunities, which enable to collect and spend miles in a more simple way. Now passengers can purchase award tickets on the website www.s7.ru or through the mobile app. There is a new programme partner – Emirates. From the 1st of June children above two years have an opportunity to become programme members, which makes family flights more cost-efficient.

S7 Priority members collect miles taking flights of S7 Airlines, all oneworld global aviation alliance partner airlines, Emirates, and also using services of numerous programme partners, among them hotels, retail store networks, car rent companies. It’s also convenient to earn miles paying with co-branded plastic cards of partner banks. E.g. 1 mile will be accrued to the S7 Priority account for every 40 roubles spent using a card of the Bank of Moscow.
