All of the corporation’s holding companies will be able to carry out the international business activities independently, Rostec CEO Sergey Chemezov said at “Information Technologies in the military-industrial sector” conference held in Kazan, Interfax-AVN reports.
“This refers only to those holding companies, which integrate the whole industry. For example, Russian Helicopters Holding Company will be able to carry out the international business activities and provide MRO services for helicopters, delivered by Rosoboronexport to other countries, independently,” Chemezov said.
According to him, some enterprises will no longer have such rights after expiration of the current contracts.
Russian Helicopters Holding Company was the first of Rostec companies to be granted the right to carry out the international business activities independently (in October 2014). Earlier only Rosoboronexport was able to carry out such activities.
