S7 Airlines, a member of the oneworld® global aviation alliance®, got one more award at the Cannes advertising festival.

On the last day of the festival the jury announced winners of the Film Lions category, the most prestigious festival category, where jury estimates most outstanding and creative promotional videos of the year. In this category S7 Airlines won a Silver Lion for the video #IWANTTOGOWHERE.

“For many years Russian companies failed to get awards in the Film Lions category. To get an award in the most prestigious festival category is an honor for S7 Airlines. We are glad, that the advertising campaign was highly appreciated by international experts”, Tatiana Fileva, S7 Group Marketing Deputy General Director, noted.

Moreover during the Cannes festival S7 Airlines was awarded with two bronze Lions in the Cyber division in the Interfaces & Navigation and Live digital categories for “Imagination Machine” project, which was organized as a part of the advertising campaign #IWANTTOGOWHERE. The Cyber division is a division where awards are given for innovative advertising and marketing projects implemented using most modern digital technologies. In addition to three awards S7 Airlines projects were also included in short lists of the Outdoor and Media divisions.

Last year S7 Airlines advertising campaign “Moscow - Kiev” won a Bronze Lion in the Outdoor category, and iPhone app «Catch-a-Plane» was awarded with a Silver Lion in the Mobile category.

Now S7 Airlines has five Cannes awards: three Bronze and two Silver Lions.
