Heavy unmanned aerial vehicles will be developed for Russian Ministry of Defense, the performance specifications are being developed, RIA Novosti reports with reference to Russian Helicopters Deputy CEO Andrei Shibitov.
“We are working on development of heavy UAVs. There were some research and development projects and we are working close with Russian Ministry of Defense in the area of development of UAVs having a takeoff weight of more than 750 kg,” Shibitov said.
He explained, that today the performance specifications are being defined by the Ministry of Defense.
