Russia and China are starting cooperation in the area of aircraft certification and focusing on entering markets of third countries, Interfax reports with reference to Russian vice premier Dmitry Rogozin.

“Today we have discussed the possibility of China joining the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC),” Rogozin said following the results of Russian-Chinese meeting.

He noted that this move would ease all the procedures related to certification of long-haul wide-body aircraft.
