S7 Group member airlines summarized the results of their activity in May 2015. During the last month the S7 Group member airlines carried 894.5 thousand passengers – 12.9% more than in May 2014.

The growth was mainly indicated on domestic routes – on flights between Russian cities the S7 Group member airlines carried more than 640 thousand passengers - 20.6% more than during the same period in 2014. In total the airlines performed 7 484 flights, 5.9% more than in May 2014.

From the beginning of the year the passenger turnover grew by 7.9% and reached 1 760 404 thousand pkm., cargo turnover grew by 6.3% up to 166 252 thousand tkm.

In the current year S7 Airlines has opened for its passengers new flight destinations within Russia and abroad. In May the airline launched new flights from Moscow to Nizhnekamsk and Naples (Italy), from Novosibirsk to Blagoveshchensk. It also resumed seasonal flights from Moscow to Athens (Greece), Valencia and Palma de Mallorca (Spain), Pula (Croatia) and Kutaisi (Georgia).

In May S7 Airlines started to operate flights between Moscow and Kaliningrad at subsidized fares. Special fare tickets are available for purchase for flights, which will be performed till the 15th of October 2015.
