Red Wings is going to expand its Sukhoi SuperJet 100 fleet to 10 aircraft by 2016

Red Wings is going to expand its Sukhoi SuperJet 100 fleet to 10 aircraft by 2016; 5 jets of the type will be delivered by Ilyushin Finance & Co. leasing company, Red Wings CEO Evgeny Klyucharev said.

“We are close to signing an agreement with Ilyushin Finance & Co. for delivery of 5 SSJ100 liners. After that the SSJ100 fleet of Red Wings will increase to 10 jets by 2016,” he said.

Klyucharev added that by the end of 2015 the carrier would operate 5 SSJ100 liners. “The fourth aircraft of the type will be delivered on July 1st, the fifth one – in mid-August. We are going to take delivery of the sixth jet on the eve of New Year or right after the holidays,” he explained.
