Russia delivered another batch of 7 Mi-171Sh helicopters to Peru in late May

Another batch comprising 7 Mi-171Sh helicopters was delivered to Peru in late May 2015, RIA Novosti reports with reference to Rosoboronexport Deputy CEO Sergey Ladigin.

A contract for delivery of 24 Russian-produced Mi-171Sh helicopters to Peru was signed in December 2013. The value of this contract is around $400 million; the first batch was delivered to the customer in December 2014.

“In late May 2015 Russia will deliver another batch of Mi-171Sh helicopters comprising seven vehicles of the type,” Ladigin said earlier. He noted that the contract between Russia and Peru is on schedule.
