In late May 2015Interdepartmental commission discussed a candidate to replace British singer Sarah Brightman (refused to perform the flight for family reasons) on ISS mission onboard Soyuz TMA-18M spacecraft, TASS reports with reference to a source close to rocket and space industry.
“The interdepartmental commission held a meeting in late May 2015. It discussed a candidate to become the third member of crew, which would travel to ISS in September. It also approved members of the crews for ISS missions scheduled for March and May 2017,” the source added.
