Russia will implement the contract for delivery of 24 Mi-171Sh helicopters to Peru in July, RIA Novosti reports with reference to Rosoboronexport Deputy CEO Sergey Ladigin.
The contract for delivery of 24 Russian-produced Mi-171Sh helicopters to Peru was signed in December 2013. The value of this contract is about $400 million. The first batch was delivered to Peru in December 2014. “The rest nine helicopters will be delivered to the customer in July 2015,” Ladigin said.
Russian helicopters Holding Company started deliveries of Mi-171Sh military-transport helicopters to Peruvian Ministry of Defense in November 2014 under a contract signed by Rosoboronexport. Besides the helicopters, the Russian Helicopters delivered equipment required to operate the vehicles to Peru, including equipment for an MRO center and a flight simulator.
