“Ka-52K is being developed for the Russian Navy. It is derived from Ka-52 Alligator reconnaissance and combat helicopter; it features resilient anti-corrosion treatment, folding blades and wings as well as other technical solutions essential for a deck-based vehicle. Its main systems have been adapted for marine use. This new model is currently undergoing testing,” the press-service explained.
The Mi-8AMTSh-V is a new version of the Mi-8AMTSh military-transport helicopter adopted by the Russian military. The upgraded helicopter has better aircraft performance. In the network of a program aimed at import substitution many of the helicopter’s components produced by foreign companies have been replaced by the ones made in Russia, offering better characteristics and expanding the vehicle’s capabilities.
The press-service also explained “the Arctic version of the military-transport helicopter, the Mi-8AMTSh-VA, is being developed on the basis of the Mi-8AMTSh-V. This helicopter offers high endurance. It is designed to operate under conditions of low temperatures and polar night, and is fitted with the latest avionics suite specially adapted for operation in the Arctic Region. Mi-8AMTSh-VA will help increase the overall efficiency of military units deployed in the Arctic Region and will contribute to implementation of a program for development of the Arctic Region”.
The Mi-28N Night Hunter combat helicopter with dual controls is a modification of the helicopter designed for pilot training. The Mi-28N Night Hunter with dual controls is able to carry out all the missions carried out by an attack helicopter.
“Light multi-role Ka-226T helicopter was derived from Ka-226, which is operated by the Russian armed forces and state special-purpose aviation divisions. The Ka-226T’s coaxial configuration assures enhanced maneuverability, and allows the vehicle to land under restrained urban conditions. The Ka-226T is equipped with the latest avionics, it offers low noise levels and meets current environmental standards. In March 2015 Russian Helicopters received additional type certificate issued by AR IAC for the multi-role Ka-226T helicopter as a modification of the production Ka-226 vehicle,” the press-service added.
