Russia is ready to offer development of a joint orbital station to BRICS countries in case of putting the International Space Station (ISS) out of service due to political controversy with the current partners, TASS reports with reference to the Chairman of the Science and Technology Council of Roscosmos Yuri Koptev.
“In case of any force majeure political events we have an opportunity to preserve the major parts of the station after 2019 and we can develop it together with BRICS countries or someone else,” he said.
