Dmitry Rogozin offers a project for assembly and promotion of Ansat helicopter in Cuba

Deputy Chairman of the Russian government Dmitry Rogozin offers a project for assembly and promotion of Ansat helicopter in Cuba. He offered the project for consideration at the 13th meeting of the Russian-Cuban Intergovernmental Commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation, TASS reports.

“I think that this helicopter will be in demand in Latin America and Caribbean and I also believe, that in light of establishment of an MRO center responsible for servicing helicopters made in Russia (and USSR) in this region, we can create a separate project for assembly and promotion of Ansat helicopters in Latin America,” Rogozin said. He added that this project looks very promising.

In his own turn the head of Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minikhanov, noted that Tatarstan “is ready to launch the production of these helicopters in Cuba”.
