Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev is considering a draft decree related to increase of funding for construction of the most important facilities specified in the Federal Space Program, Deputy Chairman of Russian Government responsible for managing rocket and space industry Dmitry Rogozin said, Interfax-AVN reports.

“At present Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev is considering the draft decree.  This decree will allow increasing funding for construction of the most important facilities specified in the Federal Space Program,” D.Rogozin said at a meeting dedicated to construction of Vostochny cosmodrome.

He added that this decree would help “add real money for the construction” of Vostochny cosmodrome.

“At the same time, we understand that Spetsstroy will have to take credits in order to “fill the holes in the budget” anyway,” he said. D.Rogozin also asked Russian bankers to take “a flexible position”.
