S7 Airlines, partner of Moscow Domodedovo Airport, performed the largest number of punctual flights and won the punctuality contest in March 2015. Other most punctual carriers are Rossiya – Russian Airlines, Saratov Airlines, Izhavia, Uzbekistan Airways, Etihad Airways, Ukraine International Airlines, and Avia Traffic Company, the airport’s press-service reports.

“Moscow Domodedovo Airport summarized the results of the punctuality contest between partner airlines on a monthly basis in eight categories - depending on the frequency of flights and maximum takeoff weight of the aircraft. S7 Airlines demonstrated the best performance in the first category – the carrier performed 2758 flights on schedule. The winner in the second category was Rossiya-Russian Airlines - 226 flights without delays. Saratov Airlines, with 136 punctual flights, was the winner in the third category. Izhavia performed 67 punctual flights in March and won in the fourth category. Most punctual among foreign airlines was Uzbekistan Airways with 134 punctual flights. Etihad Airways performed 74 flights on schedule and took second place in the rating. Also the list of winners included Ukraine International Airlines (60 punctual flights) and Avia Traffic Company (30 punctual flights),” said in the press-service statement.

Following the results of the first quarter of 2015 the following air carriers became leaders in their categories: S7 Airlines (7800 punctual flights), Rossiya-Russian Airlines (631 punctual flights), Belavia (496 punctual flights), Izhavia (186 punctual flights), Uzbekistan Airways (345 punctual flights), Swiss (255 punctual flights), Ukraine International Airlines (173 punctual flights) and Aegean Airlines (62 punctual flights).

The monthly punctuality contest between partner airlines has been held by Moscow Domodedovo Airport for more than six years. During this period the number of the airport's partners increased by one third. As of late March 2015, 80 airlines are operating flights from Domodedovo to 221 domestic and international destinations (75 of them are unique ones within the framework of Moscow Air Cluster).
