UAC – Integration Center presented functional test benches for development of software for MS-21 aircraft

On April 23rd 2015 UAC – Integration Center demonstrated functional test benches for development of software in the network of UAC’s (United Aircraft Corporation) project for development of short- and medium-haul MS-21 airliner, the company’s press-service reports.

«Specialists of UAC – Integration Center demonstrated a test bench for simulation of MS-21 aircraft’s avionics - «LIB», test bench for testing of software for CPUs of the avionics suite - «FIB-CPIOM», test bench for configuring data transfer network AFDX - «FIB-AFDX», as well as stand for development of software for displays of MS-21 - «FIB CDS». The focus was on «LIB» test bench designed to provide interactive development and evaluation of MS-21 aircraft control and navigation equipment,» said in the statement.

In addition, special attention was paid to integrated modular test bench «FIB CPIOM» used by developers of software for integration and verification of some functions of the software using a real CPU (CPIOM). Moreover, the stand for development of software for MS-21 displays («FIB CDS») was also presented; it is intended for development and testing of user applications (DO297) and integration of CDS software prototype. 

“UAC – Integration Center” CEO Viktor Polyakov noted that specialists of Thales Avionics SAS (France) participated in development, production and testing of «FIB-CPIOM» test bench. Representatives of Irkut Corporation praised the test benches and a great job done by UAC,» the company noted.
