Radioelectronic Technologies Concern (KRET, part of Rostec State Corporation) is completing testing of the latest version of EW suite intended for transport helicopters and aircraft, RIA Novosti reports with reference to KRET Deputy CEO Igor Nasenkov.
He reminded, that in 2014 Russian Ministry of Defense took delivery of the latest Vitebsk EW suites for Ka-52 helicopters and Su-25 strike-fighters.
“Testing of other versions of Vitebsk EW suite for transport helicopters and aircraft is nearing completion,” Nasenkov said.
Vitebsk electronic warfare suite is designed for protection of aircraft and helicopters from anti-aircraft missiles.
Radioelectronic Technologies Concern (KRET) is the Russia’s largest holding company in the radio electronics industry; it was established in 2009 and it is a part of Rostec State Corporation.
