2,3 billion rubles will be allocated for construction of an airfield at Alexandra Land Island

Spetstroy of Russia issued a tender for construction of an airfield at Franz Joseph Land archipelago worth more than 2 billion rubles, Interfax reports.

According to the request posted at zakupki.gov.ru website, General Directorate for Construction of Roads and Airfields of the Federal Special Construction Agency issued a tender for carrying out “construction and installation of the “Airfield at Alexandra Land Island”, Franz Joseph Land archipelago (Nagurskoye).

Starting price of the contract is 2 303 571 118 rubles.
