President of Russia Vladimir Putin said that decision to increase the capital of United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) by 100 billion rubles has been made, TASS reports.

“In fact we decided to increase the capital of our civil aviation sector, our UAC, by 100 billion rubles,” the President said at a meeting with businessmen.

He noted that in USSR civil aviation was as important as the military one. “We need to boost the civil aviation segment; both segments should be developed simultaneously,” the President noted and advised the businessmen to join this work.
