SCAC held a presentation in Bangkok during Dmitry Medvedev’s visit to Thailand

Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC) held a presentation in Bangkok in the network of Dmitry Medvedev’s visit to Thailand, Deputy Chairman of the Russian government, head of the Executive Office of the Government of Russian Federation, Sergey Prihodko, told Prime.

“The management team of SCAC was going to held a presentation of its products,” the Vice-premier said. Moreover, according to Prihodko, the company is negotiating deliveries of its aircraft to Thailand, its representatives should have taken part in the meeting of the Prime Minister with members of the countries’ business communities. “They are negotiating, but this is a commercial problem. They are going to take part in the meeting with businessmen,” Prihodko said.

The Vice-premier reminded that a contract for delivery of two Sukhoi SuperJet 100 aircraft to Thai air forces was signed in September 2014. Among potential private customers are some Thai carriers.

Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC), which is responsible for production of the Russian short-haul Sukhoi SuperJet 100 airliner, was founded in 2000. Sukhoi Holding Company owns 75% (minus 1 share) of the SCAC’s shares; Alenia Aermacchi (Italy) — 25% (plus one share).
