Technodinamika is going to start deliveries of MS-21 and SSJ100 components by 2018

Technodinamika Holding Company is going to start mass production and deliveries of MS-21 and Sukhoi SuperJet 100 components by 2018, TASS reports with reference to Technodinamika CEO Maxim Kuzyuk.

“Our products may replace components delivered by foreign companies. Including components for MS-21 and Superjet. It is a very complicated program and we are doing our best to implement this project,” he said.

New components must be not only developed, but also tested (ground and flight tests), Kuzyuk explained. In the network of Sukhoi SuperJet 100 and MS-21 projects Technodinamika manufactures a lot of components, from landing gear and oxygen systems to hydraulic system.

“By the end of 2015 we will manufacture prototypes intended and start ground testing, in 2016-2017 we will carry out flight tests. In 2017-2018 we are going to start deliveries of these components,” Technodinamika CEO said.

Kuzyuk noted that many products are dual-purpose ones: for example, auxiliary power units, generators, components of power supply system.

According to him, the company is able to start production meeting international standards in terms of quality and self-cost. “We will be able to make the components cheaper (thanks to lower self-cost) compared to our rivals. And we will meet the requirements of our customers in terms of quality,” the CEO said.

Kuzyuk said that the company is developing a new aerial refueling system.

“Development of a new UPAS-1M system with improved performance is underway. It will be installed on aircraft currently fitted with the previous production system – UPAS,” he said without specifying the concept-to-delivery time.

Unique feature of this system is a new turbopump assembly, which allows increasing pumping power and fill flow rate, Kuzyuk explained.
