Technodinamika Holding Company (former Aviation Equipment, part of Rostec State Corporation) will manufacture a fail-safe fuel system for helicopters this year. The system will be able to prevent fire outbreak in case of hard landing, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the company’s CEO Maxim Kuzyuk.
“This year we will start production of prototypes, the testing will be started in 2016-2017,” Kuzyuk said.
He added that this innovative solution is of great importance, because “helicopters make hard landings more often and it is important to prevent fire outbreak and explosion of fuel tanks and components of fuel system”.
Technodinamika Holding (it was called Aviation Equipment until March 2015) specializes in development, production and after-sales support of aircraft systems and components. In addition, Technodinamika manufactures parts and assemblies for the oil and gas, car, transport and energy industries. Technodinamika comprises 36 enterprises located in Moscow, Moscow Region, Ufa, Samara, Ulyanovsk, Arkhangelsk Region and other regions of Russia.
Rostec is the Russian State Corporation established in 2007 in order to support development, production and exports of high-tech industrial civil and military products.
