A meeting dedicated to MS-21 project status was held at AeroComposit-Ulyanovsk

A meeting chaired by the Irkut Corporation President Oleg Demchenko was held at AeroComposit-Ulyanovsk on March 31st. Representatives of Irkut Corporation, Irkutsk Aviation Plant, Aviastar-SP and AeroComposit took part in the meeting, AeroComposit’s press-service reports.

“The participants have discussed matters related to implementation of MS-21 project. In the network of industrial cooperation AeroComposit is developing a composite wing for the airliner. AeroComposit CEO Anatoly Gaidanski told the participants about implementation of this project. He also discussed a schedule for delivery of components to Irkutsk Aviation Plant, including center section of the fuselage intended for assembly of the first MS-21 flying prototype,” the company explained.

In his own turn, AeroComposite Deputy CEO – General Designer Sergey Kulikov told the participants about testing of components carried out in the network of preparation for the jet’s maiden flight and certification.

The delegation visited production sites, including the site for assembly of MS-21 composite wing.
