Aviastar-SP to construct a new Il-76MD-90A assembly line and test facilities allowing the enterprise to increase its output and efficiency. Glavgosekspertiza approved the Aviastar’s project, the enterprise’s press-service reports.

“Today our enterprise is entering a very important new stage – we got clearance for implementation of a very promising project, - head of “Reconstruction and technical re-equipping for creating a new assembly line and test facilities for Il-76MD-90A and its modifications» project at Aviastar-SP Alexander Danilin said. – Position of the new line has already been defined. A new workstations intended for assembly and testing of the aircraft will be constructed here”.

The latest Russian solutions and technologies will be used during construction of the assembly line at Aviastar. The key operations related to assembly and testing will be carried out using world-class equipment, tooling and tools. It will help increase the overall efficiency of the production and technical level of the final assembly and testing.

Today specialists of Aviastar-SP are starting elaboration of required documents and reconstruction of production areas allocated for construction of the facilities. Installation of the assembly line should be completed in 2016.
