United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) comprising the Russia’s leading airframers is going to increase its total output by 20% in 2015 (compared to 2014), UAC President Yuri Slusar told RIA Novosti.
“About 170 aircraft will be manufactured (126 of them will be combat and special-purpose aircraft, the rest - civil airliners). We are going to increase our output by 20% year-on-year. This refers to the number of aircraft, and it is not a linear dependence – revenues are increasing with the increase of the output,” Slusar said.
According to him, such increase of the output requires new employees. It was reported earlier that UAC is going to hire around 5000 young professionals over the next few years.
Moreover, UAC is going to export 34 aircraft in 2015 and a total of 90 ones over the next three years.
