Since March 1st 2015 the rules of entry into Ukraine for Russian citizens have been changed. According to the decree signed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, citizens of Russia will be able to enter the territory of Ukraine only using international passport. Passengers, who purchased tickets for S7 Airlines flights to Kiev or Odessa with a departure date after March 1st using national passport or birth certificate, may return tickets without any penalties, the carrier’s press-service reports.

“In order to get a refund a passenger must visit the sales office, where he purchased the ticket, or call the carrier’s contact center in case the ticket was purchased via S7 website. S7 Airlines operates regular daily flights from Moscow to Kiev and the carrier also performs flights from Moscow to Odessa once a week,” S7 explained.

A passenger may also cross the border using a diplomatic passport, service passport, seaman’s ID or a pilot’s license.
