Airbus ProSky, subsidiary of Airbus, which specializes in air traffic management solutions, and Azimut Company, the Russia’s leading ATM provider (part of Rostec State Corporation) have agreed on joint development of innovative air traffic management solutions, press-service of Airbus reports.
The respective agreement was signed at World ATM Congress (held in Madrid) by Paul-Franck Bijou, Airbus ProSky CEO and Asker Saidov, Azimut CEO.
Under the agreement, the parties will develop integrated solution, which allows coordinating ATM and airport management services (Collaborative Decision Making), and jointly implement Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM) solutions. This partnership based on the companies’ expertise paves the way for the development and implementation of the cutting-edge ATM solutions. It will help improve the air transport system, increase its capacity, predictability and efficiency, the company noted.
Asker Saidov said: “We hope that our close cooperation with Airbus ProSky will result in development of new technologies in both Air Traffic Management and System Wide Information Management (SWIM) areas and our solutions will be used by various members of the aviation system. Surely, the solutions may be implemented not only in Russia but also in other regions of the world.”
