Sukhoi SuperJet 100 (SSJ 100) export support system is fully functional, head of VEB Vladimir Dmitriev said during a meeting with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, the president’s press-service reports.

«I would like to    turn the attention to measures aimed at debt restructuring and financial support of Sukhoi Holding Company and Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company as well as measures taken to promote the product at the global market with the participation of Vnesheconombank. We must be satisfied with the resources provided and the number of aircraft delivered to Mexico. These deliveries are growing,» Dmitriev noted.

«We see that the comprehensive export support system is fully functional. And we are using this system to deliver Sukhoi SuperJet 100 aircraft to foreign countries; VEB-leasing, EXIAR (Export Insurance Agency of Russia) and Roseksimbank are involved in the process. This whole scheme is working in full swing,» Vladimir Dmitriev added.

He also noted that decision was made to establish a special center for supporting exports, which will cooperate with the abovementioned organizations and will also have new functions in order to assure a “one-stop shop” approach for Russian exporters ready to receive state support via the existing financial institutions, including VEB.

«Of course it is important to mark the projects credited by us and implemented in the area of agricultural sector; they are of great importance in terms of phasing out imports, assuring economic security and self-production,» he said.
