Tupolev Company delivered another upgraded Tu-95MS bomber to Russian Ministry of Defense

On January 27th 2015 another upgraded Tu-95MS bomber was handed over to Russian Ministry of Defense under a state contract, Tupolev Company reports.

«In the network of the upgrade the aircraft’s avionics suite has been replaced, so the vehicle’s overall efficiency has been increased; the upgraded bombers of the type will be operated until 2025,» the company’s press-service reports.

Specialists of Tupolev Company are working on supporting the continued airworthiness of Tu-95MS bombers operated by Russian air forces. They are also upgrading vehicles of the type by means of fitting the aircraft with the latest aircraft systems and improving reliability of the bomber’s components.
