Irkutsk Aviation Plant (part of Irkut Corporation) started production of full flight simulators (FFS) for Su-30SM fighters, which are being delivered to Russian air forces, Interfax reports with reference to the press-service of the enterprise.

The FFS are being manufactured under a contract with Russian Ministry of Defense.

“Appearance of the simulator is almost identical to the nose part of Su-30SM’s fuselage, but there are some differences: FFS is not fitted with some components required only during flight,” the press-service added.
