Interjet (Mexico) approved the purchase of 10 more Sukhoi SuperJet 100 aircraft, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Interjet CEO Jose Luis Garsa.
“The decision was made by the company’s Board of Directors,” Garsa said. This refers to an option for 10 jets of the type exercised by Interjet.
Today the carrier’s fleet comprises 51 aircraft, including 12 out of 20 ordered SSJ 100 liners. The rest 8 vehicles will be delivered to the carrier by July 2015.
According to the company’s CEO, he is heading to Venice soon to sign the agreement for delivery of 10 more jets of the type.
