Two multipurpose attack helicopters Mi-35 were delivered to the Western MD Army Aviation airbase, located in the Pskov Region. These new helicopters successfully passed all the factory tests and trials and, as a result, the base’s engineer-technicians received the Mi-35’s. At present, the helicopters are extensively used in different drills.

Mi-35’s are designed for the elimination of enemy’s armor and manpower, fire support of airborne, motorized and tank units, as well as transportation of cargo in cabin or on pods.

The armament of a Mi-35 depends on the mission. It may be equipped with antitank Shturm-V missiles, S-8 and S-24 rockets, guns, bombs and mines.
