A Russian Emergencies Ministry An-148 is carrying out medical evacuation of 4 seriously-ill children with different diagnoses from the city of Simferopol to hospitals in Moscow and Saint Petersburg.

All of them are in need of urgent highly-qualified and high-tech medical aid.

In Moscow, three of the children will be delivered to hospitals to get highly-qualified and high-tech medical aid.

The same plane will get on child from Simferopol and 2 children from Moscow to hospitals in Saint Petersburg.

The plane is rigged with modern equipment and special medical units, medical ventilation apparatuses and cardiomonitors allowing for providing medical aid to the patients during the flight.

Aboard the plane the patients will be accompanied by medical personnel of the Tsentrospas Team of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, Russian Disaster Medicine Center Zashchita of the Russian Ministry of Health and a psychologist of the Russian Emergencies Ministry Center for Emergency Psychological Aid.
