A Russian Emergencies Ministry Il-76 of the Russian Emergencies Ministry is carrying out medical evacuation of 20 seriously-ill children with different diagnosis from the city of Rostov-on-Don to hospitals in Moscow.
All of the children are in need for emergency highly-qualified and high-tech medical aid.
The plane is rigged with modern equipment and special medical units, medical ventilation apparatuses and cardiomonitors allowing for providing medical aid to the patients during the flight.
Aboard the plane the patients will be accompanied by medical personnel of the Tsentrospas Team of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, Russian Disaster Medicine Center Zashchita of the Russian Ministry of Health and psychologists of the Russian Emergencies Ministry Center for Emergency Psychological Aid.
In Moscow, all the patients will be transported to specialized hospitals where they are going to get highly-qualified and high-tech medical aid.
