The management board of Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service has considered changes in the regulation of natural monopolies' activities at the airports of Moscow and Moscow region and made a decision to abandon the regulation of prices in the markets of airport services across the Moscow air hub, the regulatory body informed.

At the session, the management board considered the results of a review of competition in the markets of airport services across the Moscow air hub which evidence due competition between Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Sheremetyevo airports, the presence of at least two alternative aviation fuel suppliers and several ground service companies at each of the airports. Therefore, in view of Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service, the transition to a competitive market from a natural monopoly-dominated environment is economically reasonable for the Moscow air hub.
