Aeroflot has launched an unprecedented New Year’s offer, introducing flat winter and summer rates on selected routes as part of its drive to make air travel affordable and accessible to people across Russia.
The latest offer from Russia’s flag carrier comes after its 10% price reduction on all domestic flights announced earlier in December.
From 31 December to 26 March inclusive a flat winter rate will apply on all Aeroflot economy class flights from Moscow to Kaliningrad, with tickets costing RUB 5,000 return and RUB 3,000 one way. Tickets from Moscow to Simferopol will cost RUB 7,000 return and RUB 3,500 one way.
From 27 March to 29 October 2016, tariffs on these routes will revert to their 2015 levels of RUB 8,500 return and RUB 5,100 one way.
The offer announced today does not affect existing flat rates from Moscow to four cities in Russia’s far east: Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
Tickets at the new tariffs can be purchased on Aeroflot’s website www.aeroflot.ru, at the airline’s sales offices and through official agents.
