Russia is not discussing a halt of air connection with Turkey, Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov told PRIME Wednesday.
“Such a possibility is not studied now. We are fulfilling what was included in the president’s decree and in the Russian government’s ruling,” he said.
Moscow banned charter flights and sales of tourist trips to Turkey, and said it will toughen control over security of air communication between the countries. The measures, among others, were imposed on Ankara after it downed Russian Su-24 bomber on November 24.
