New-comers of the Eastern MD Special Task Force and the Marines of the Pacific Fleet have performed first parachute jumps.

The jumps were carried out from the altitude of 600 metres from Mi-8AMTSh helicopters. The trainings were held simultaneously at several ranges of the Khabarovsk Krai, Primorsky Krai and Kamchatka Krai.

In 2015, the Eastern MD servicemen have performed over 12,000 parachute jumps exceeding the results of the previous year.

Since 2014, modern parachute systems D-10 are used by servicemen of the Eastern MD.
